Where can I get magnetic field shieldings (not electric magnetic field shieldings)?Wil b appreciated ?
I am in New Delhi, urgently need Magnetic fild SHIELDINGS for those magnets used in Radio,Speakers,Door Closers,Magnetic hangers, Coolers. I don't want SHIELDINGS for electro magnet, want for normal magnets. Is there any dealer near me? Can I have any address of dealers,distributers or magnetic field shielding manufacturer ? Will be appreciated for giving useful answers.
You can substantially reduce the field from these types of magnets by containing them within a steel enclosure. In many cases that will render the unit unusable. A speaker inside a steel box isn't going to do you much good, but its magnetic field will be greatly reduced.
It is never possible to completely shield a magnet. Some flux will always leak through.
The types of magnets that you mention, though, are very small and extremely unlikely to affect anything unless it is directly pressed against the magnet. You shouldn't need shielding of any sort for these magnets.
