Scab in Ear?
In December I noticed that there was a small black dot in the center of the inside of my outer ear. I figured it had to do with the fact that I wore earplugs to bed for about 3 months (loud roommate). But tonight it was a bigger black spot and ended up peeling off... like a scab or something. Now I have a deep red hole in my outer ear! It looks as if I got a cartilage piercing in the middle of my ear, but the hole doesn't go all the way through. What could this be? Is this enough of a concern to bring up to my dermatologist? I'm not having any pain, but it's weird...
yes, it's definitely enough reason for you to visit your dermatologist. as you said, the problem is getting bigger. you shouldn't wait until it is too late to act.
