Hi, I wanna know if it's okay to store & freeze xpressed breastmilk in those sandwich zipper bags?TQvm!?
I ran out of storage bottles (containers) for freezing my e.b.m, so am desperately needing some economical solution for freezing those e.b.m safely. Those specialty breastmilk storage bags are way too expensive for long term usage. So, am wondering if anybody does that same, ie. store n freeze their e.b.m in polyethelene zipper bags.....
***Note: i do double bag the milk though.
***My concern is: Will the precious nutrients of our e.b.m be lost since the zipper bags are actually thinner polyethelenes compared to specialty breastmilk storage bags??? (really do not want to waste the milk at all:)
Yes it is fine..no need to double bag either, or you can use Ice cube trays
